Taylor Parker
MSN, PMHNP-BC

Hi, I'm Taylor, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and I believe you're more than a diagnosis, a medication list, or a difficult season in your life.
Before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I worked as an emergency room nurse. That job showed me just how complicated people's lives can be, and how different every person's story is. Because of that, I don't believe in treating everyone the same way. Every person brings their own experiences, strengths, challenges, goals, and circumstances, and treatment should reflect that. One of the things I love most about psychiatry is that there are rarely simple answers.
Unlike many healthcare fields, there isn't always one "right" solution. I rely on evidence-based treatment, but I also know people aren't algorithms. A plan that works beautifully for one person might not work at all for the next, and that's not a failure. It just means you're a person, not a checklist. My goal is to understand who you are, what matters to you, and what you actually want to change, so we can build a plan that fits your life and adapt as your needs do.
I take a collaborative approach to care, combining traditional psychiatric treatment with integrative strategies like nutrition, lifestyle changes, and supplements. I believe the best outcomes happen when patients understand their options, feel comfortable asking questions, and have a real say in their own care, including the choices we make together about medication.
Starting mental health treatment can feel scary. It takes courage to ask for help and trust someone with your story. My hope is to build a space where you feel heard and supported while we work together toward you feeling more confident, more grounded, and more at home in your own mind.
If you feel like I could be helpful in your journey, I would be honored to work with you.

Until then, Taylor Parker
I'm happy you're here
